Department for Happiness
i have often found that i am working –
in the department for happiness
it is a position –
i am ill equipped for –
and one i ill deserve
i am just –
a mixed up dictionary –
made up of nonsensical words
what am i –
doing at the counter –
in the department of happiness
i am the last person –
who should be here
i made a water feature –
in the garden of my mind –
and i made it out of my crystal tears
then i had to interpret –
my only avant garde king lear
how is it,
i end up in this place
i should be working in lost luggage
sorting out the suitcases
what a waste,
me, me, me
with my face
i have often found that i am working –
in the department of happiness
