Friendship Fool
when you stopped being real –
or tangible
when you treated our friendship
as a fool
then, then you lost me
when you disappeared
and reinvented yourself as a piece of fiction
when i no longer featured –
in your diction
now, now you show the world
that you cannot do enough for them
but for me you could do very little
i think you have made up the life you live
and i think, giving to me,
became an unattractive gift
