Deep Romance – Written Thursday 28th October 1994 (Aged 19)

Deep Romance

i hate watching people
when i know i have hurt them
they plague my sleep
i feel so bad,
guilt cuts so deep
i hate to see people sad
just because of circumstance
and i sometimes wonder
about a deep romance
and as i wonder
i am sure, for those around
i appear to be in a deep trance
i hate to see the world like this
a ship of the universe
going down so quick
like birth in reverse
i just do not know what to do
it is easy, too easy wanting you
because i really do
it is coping with her and explaining
that we have nothing left to share
that is the hard part,
breaking the heart
