Eggbox Rocket -Written Sunday 13th November 1994 (Aged 19)

Eggbox Rocket

i am going back in time
back to my childhood
and i am going to build –
a spaceship
an eggbox rocket
and i will fly me and a friend
all the way to the moon
there is no need to tell mum
i will be back soon
just in time for tea
where we will have chips
maybe a few peas,
and i am sure, other bits
i have got myself –
an eggbox rocket
if can go anywhere
it is fuelled by my imagination
and it will go anywhere i care
