Cityscape
city life is escaping
city life stretches out
catching the number 11
all the way –
to fullham broadway
down to golders green
where all the graves
can be seen
cityscape is true
the feelings you have
the sky, a kind of off blue
see the big buildings
owned by things full of money
how are you feeling
do the soup drinkers
just leave you reeling
and are the thinkers
somehow always seeing
viewers of life
cityscape is a city view
that’s all that matters
it is time for you
