Carrying Chains

i do not know what to do
i have got to get out
and i am blue
just thinking of you
i made it this far
there cannot be further to go
you must know –
how i feel about you
and i am blue
i cannot shake this feelings
it is dragging me down
it is like i am carrying chains
i need some change
and i am blue
and yet, it is so true
everything about the place
and it is you
and your pretty face
what am i going to do
do not tell me about my aura
i know it is not blue
you have got to know a fact
i am telling you
it is a dastardly black
it is just my mood which is blue
i am thinking about a girl
i am carrying chains, thinking of you
and i am blue, so blue
