Their Smile Keeps Them Warm – Written June 2011 (Aged 36)

Their Smile Keeps Them Warm

i look at them
their smile keeps them warm
i run around gardens
and never find a home
they sup tea –
and sup on being normal
i stand out,
right against the sun
alienation is a myth
it is aggravation
an intolerant list
but i am not like them
life is different
they have to learn to smile
and play the game
i have managed a xylophone
and it sounds in pain
of course everyone gives me a reason
on why i am who i am
strangely they never ask me
not those questions
that let you run free
