It Does Not Mean That I Do Not Love You

sometimes it feels –
as if you are slipping away
and i though i may be selfish
it does not mean that i do not love you
and just because –
i do not always hold you
it does not mean that i do not love you
though i may be selfish
and though i do not always say it as i should
it does not mean that i do not love you
and just because –
i cannot show it like a film or those books
it does not mean i do not love you
you still steal all my looks
sometimes it feels –
as if you are slipping away
do not forget, i love you
remember that and please stay
