Desires Never Met

somebody made her jealous
showed her a life she could live
but never realised –
she is jealous of this woman’s place
she is looking for –
what this woman has already found
so a little jealously
will bring it to a halt
because a heart can be so lonely
and hers is a vault
a brain just aching to share
an ideal husband
just wanting to be there
getting older –
maybe she is just finding
what everyone else is looking for
somebody made her jealous
but who is the jealous one
the one who is building a life
or the one still searching
