Church Never Quite Built
their mental health –
is like a town charter –
that lies in tatters
it talked about them
and personal matters
their mental health
lies in the gutter
just waiting for the rain
to wash it all away
they construct the world
in words they say
their mental health
is the church –
never quite built
the one that faces –
the other way
the one whose foundations –
were a sand too wet
their mental health –
cannot forget its shopping list
it is tried and weak
it works them up
in the words which they speak
