Under Wires and Electric Moonlight
and on the train home
as it sped through the night
under wires and electric moonlight
as you fells asleep on me
just holding my hand
for a moment,
i forgot about societal constraints
those that i barely understand
like theories on gravity –
and this evolving revolving world
you are, and always be mine
be my beautiful baby girl
now i do not want to be on my own
and i understand you are a woman –
with a mind of her own
but i tripped up and i fell
trying to find stars for you
you are my love, my baby girl
and you always will be
