Acceptance Seems to be the Key

all this feels hard going
and more than ever –
acceptance seems to be the key
i want it to scream for me
i am amazed –
and slightly phased
but the need to make, ‘abnormal’
that which we do not understand
is something,
that feels almost underhand
perhaps that is the nature of life
the not so subtle grasp for hands
when do people decide
and when do people hide
