Tangled in the More or Less
i have become a figure
the sort
where people say
ah, they deserve better
the sort
that needs a sympathetic letter
a thoughtful individual
a collector
shifting years
counting magic moments
on the frost of their breath
tangled,
in the more or less
with its sharp direct accent
and shifting vowel sounds
i have become a figure
from verb to noun
i saw the outer space
but i know inner space beckons
