i did not leave you for anybody else
i left for no beauty
i left you for myself
nobody, just myself
i do not know if that is worse
i just want to be on my own
i do realise and understand the hurt
but you are not alone
you are never really alone
i did not go away
or decide i no longer cared
i am afraid to say
i never really felt i was there
i did not leave you for anybody else
there is no one new
