Some People Are Surplus – Written July 1997 (Aged 22)

Some People Are Surplus

some people are surplus
or so it seems
some people are made of dust
they type that swirls in your dreams
if only i could get across to you
if only you could understand what i mean
i know that if i could do this
then i know things would be better
even if they would not be
some kind of heavenly bliss
some people get under your skin
but i my thinking is always slim
if only we were all not so surplus
