Life Vibrancy
it is in my bloodstream
life vibrancy
it ricochets around my life
but crowds feel like a collection of surgeons
and their glare is the knife
what does this mean?
you asked about us –
and if it felt all too routine
it doesn’t
but i am aware that life is passing us by
at a fair old pace
and with something of a steady lick
but my hope, love and intimacy –
remains true, it’s a structure built from brick
my care is bright in its vibrancy
i circle these days high above the wreckage
and historic monuments that pass for my past
it is in my bloodstream
life vibrancy
it ricochets around my life
but crowds feel like a collection of surgeons
and that is why i hang onto you so tight
