They Hold All
a broken life
briefly joined together
only to fragment
lost keys
very nearly meant
stormy seas
that lap at our dreams
a broken life
here and there
and very nearly there
shattered glass
from the marble mountain
to the lonely past
a broken life
which they must hold
in their warm hands
their beautiful hands
that hold all
