Identity – Written Wednesday 11th October 2005 (Aged 30)

identity stolen
memories invade
on the road, overtaken
told that i must talk
let me dance with pirates
let me learn to walk
identity taken
assumed by armed guard
they were mistaken
glass half empty…
glass half full…
there is a dinner set out
but never any soul food
identity taken away
all the things i have worked for
all the mistakes i have made
wrapped and packed
during an air raid
trying to get back
they fought for identity
taken during an attack
