Objection
you never saw me
as anything other than an object
you certainly –
never saw me as an individual
someone who is real
with real feelings and real needs
i was just an answer
yet your wound still bleeds
have you ever wondered
why you are so driven by needs?
why you roam?
why the close and intimate depart
why you end up so alone
you never listened to me
you never wanted my corrections
i was just your lazy answer
and that will always be my objection
