Your Hypocrisy is Dazzling

i watch you
no girlfriends for lunch
people over
shopping trips out
i watch you
as you criticise others
for all the time they spend
on their internet friend
your hypocrisy is dazzling
but it never blinds you
it never alerts you
no volunteer work
i have a friend
who despite her hurt
works out in the community
and here are you
trying to fill gaps with another reality
and you criticise others
whilst you stay on the shelf
you talk about life
but never take part
i watch you as you cling on
it’s the hypocrisy that amazes me
