Guilt and Security – Written December 2006 (Aged 31)

Guilt and Security

i hate what you have done to me
but do i hate you?
no, not really
you are just another being
who never pulled up their socks
and took on prejudice and attitudes
tormented by guilt and security
which has overcompensates –
for your vast arrogance
never shifting in stance
in case the the truth is revealed
and you are forced to dance
i hate what you have done to me
but do i hate you?
no, not really
there is not so much to hate
a bundle of personality traits
never emotionally mature like love

James Garratt – December 2006 (Aged 31)
