Knots

personally i am bankrupt at present
feeling older than my years
a sailor on a sea of my own tears
a climber,
stuck on a mountain of my own fears

feeling older than my years
personally i am bankrupt at present
shifting scenes have become corrupted
all my dreams,
the hope of adulthood weakened
but never with the insecurity of my teens

personally i just need some time away
i seem to have lost a lot
and i need to rejuvenate –
all the love i have before i lose it –
and tie myself up in emotional knots
