Beyond the Pale
when you have peered through the net curtains
and made do with making love on sunday
following the same old routine
when you cannot sell your house
but you have sold your personal dreams
when your identity continues to scream
and you ask for it to be set free
i hope you think for a while
and be less judgemental on people like me
when you have read you copy of daily mail
ignored poverty or a crisis in africa
and only thought, that is beyond the pale
