Dog Legged Views
i have stomached –
dog legged views
justice they cry
but if only they knew
they are gullible inside
and with no desire –
to actually look
they treat headlines
like an authoritative book
they bite the stale worm
on the rusty hook
justice they cry
without knowing the result
or even the score
you find them mad
and curled up on the floor
they look around
and sniff the dirt
they smeared paint on their face
and with a warlike tendency
they abandon humanity and grace
they speak of a rage
and an inner pain
justice they cry
as they eagerly board the gravy train
