Friends Will Pull Me Through – Written Tuesday 2nd December 2008 (Aged 33)

Friends Will Pull Me Through

friends will pull me through
they always do
and that is not meant –
in a flippant or disparaging
and predictable way
it’s just that they are the backbone
that is why when –
relationships come to an end
every ex romantic partner
longs to be friends
friends, true friends keep you going
arguments and spats come and go
but the bond and the shared experience
are what really matters

James Garratt – December 2008
