Happy House – Written Thursday 3rd March 2016 (Aged 41)

Happy House

is this the life you wanted?
even dreamed of?
playing, ‘happy house’
is that enough?
it’s all image of course
but there is no,
‘lick of paint personality’ –
that can cover the truth
you can tell yourself over and over
that it’s all okay
and all the muddle in your head
will just go away
people want to be respectable
and that is the mantra
it’s never,
my truths are highly debatable
is it what you want?
was there a point –
when there were ideas
only made from your palette
stretching far and wide in font of you
is this the life you wanted?
