All This Change
all this change
where does it come from
different days
different ways
the stately home
and the garden maze
all this change
with its varied wave
oscillating changes
and anxiety already made
where do we go from here
what bus, train or car
will take us to our next point
what feet will do the walking
as we find ourselves,
wrapped up in the unknown
as we try to free ourselves by talking
what is next in this life,
in our lives
as in each other we confide
this life, to live and die
all this change
and, here we go again
