Easier Said Than Done

i am shutting doors
it is easier said than done
ties have tied –
since i was young
and i am the product –
of emotions melted –
by a radiator of a lost cause
it’s not the jokes i tell
it’s the nature of my emotional being
it is true –
the sickest –
have the greatest stuff
like the leopards and the cars
and who does have the last laugh?
it is a life,
where you wear a mask
and for most,
we are no more than kitchen maids
made to perform routine tasks
i am shutting doors
but it is easier said than done
