Moon Shadows

someone said,
they had only love and concern held for me
but they lied…
wash me down in those tears i have cried
i have not felt hurt like this in such a long time
so angry…
i feel as if i am going out of my tiny mind
someone said,
they had only love and concern held for me
but why do i feel as i have been knifed in the heart
somehow torn to pieces and ripped apart
you know that i did not sleep last night
all did was watch the moon shadows
lay there and hold onto the duvet so tight
