Army of Gravediggers

these are deafly days
do you not believe me?
watch,
as the bonfire burns
and if not already,
then soon,
it will be your turn
and it does not matter
what things you learn
they have us
and they despise the worthy person
who can articulate
and show intelligence
because it is these people who connect
that is why,
connection makes all the difference
these are deadly days
believe me,
because it is true
this neoliberalism
is raining down it’s punches on me and you
and when,
they have driven us into the ground
like an army of gravediggers we will be earth bound
deep down and without a sound
