The Sorry Tale

the sorry tale all about how we live,
of a society that has forgotten to pick up the tab
shirked its responsibility,
turned its back,
stamps its feet,
and demands attention
in the west we have this perverse direction
the sorry tale of a society that does not really care
that acts like a child,
that does not want to chare
me, me, me,
so society screams,
it turns its back and it squanders all of its dreams
