Fixed Ideas
fixed ideas that never shift
even when pushed,
by knowledge
from a reliable provider
fixed ideas that never shift
ram raid logic and rationality
they obey no rules,
bask in insanity
fixed ideas come to grief
on the deserted island of dreams
and its barrier reef
fixed ideas come with a price
and that price will depend
on what you are willing to lose
and not what you lend
fixed ideas boil down to pride
the narrow road,
of the deep down stuff inside
try to hang them from a wall
leave them with a mountain hue
fixed ideas always feel so small
