Love
love does not grow on trees
it is not done manually by hand
or found in well worn knees
it’s not found in immaturity
and know what you you’ve found
it does not benefit from purity
love is not found in need
or insecurity and mistakes
take a look at self belief
none of us know the answers
but love is not found in fables
and she may say she’s an exotic dancer
but she has a pole and a table
love is not found there
love and lust are similar
only in the sense of the word us
love is it and love contains it
love does not grow on trees
you won’t find it in the gutter
and it has a sting greater than a bumble bee
we will find it in each other
we will find love in you and me
