I Am In Deep – Written Monday 9th July 2001 (Aged 26)

I Am In Deep

i am in deep
way past my ankle chains
and i am not paddling with my feet
i am making huge gains,
because i am in deep
holding onto a pretty face
that’s why,
i had to find a necklace
i thought i would look around
maybe find a magic crate
i am in deep
she is so strong in her own vulnerability
and i am warmed by the constant heat
i will sink if i ever find sanity
but i will survive with a positive heartbeat
i am in deep
and the deeper it is,
the better it is
i know this will not be ending
i will not misuse my letters
and what she needs i will fetch for her
