why did i waste my tears on you?
why did i ever let you inside?
you let me believe,
the reflection of the blade was not in your eyes

you are chasing dreams without enough fuel
and you are struggling,
to come terms with everything that is cruel
who are you?
why did i waste my tears on you
i could have embraced the world
i could have embraced the new
i could have met the special few
who are you?
why did i waste my tears on you
why did it happen,
