The Gift
the gift
the chance
the capture of thought
the gift
if only i had known
the gift is mine
that’s what they are
the gift
a wonderful chance
a feeling shared
a constructive glance
the gift
a truly wonderous thought
making the heart sing
bring out the flowers
the gift
how lucky can i be
taken away
they are everything me
