Feeling Safe – Written Monday 27th July 2009 (Aged 34)

Feeling Safe

feeling safe seems to be underrated
it never received the coverage
that lust has,
or the fame that love has found
feeling safe and secure
someone as an anchor point
someone to hold you
someone as a reference point
feeling safe seems to be underrated
in between sex and wanting
and all the push and shove
in between love and then hate
both of which can be just too much
there is feeling safe
no pressure and no agenda
all of this is always somehow missed
but if i could have anything in life
this would surely top my list
