Let Me Down Again

i knew you would let me down again
you tell me,
that your life is a mess
but is others or yourself –
in which you lack respect
i knew you would let me down again
and i knew this would be the case
i add you to the list
and i decide to stay indoors
then the disappointment only extends –
as far as the colour on my walls
i wasted my day
waiting for you make contact
knowing that you never would
you tell me,
that your life is mess
but is it any wonder –
if this is the way that you treat people
what category do we come under
the dispossessed?
i knew you would let me down again
