Natural Highs
i did not realise –
how much –
i had changed
till i stopped –
and checked the date
on my body watch
i stopped –
and took a look
i realised with some speed
that i had been –
falling through this book
these could be –
the best days of my life
and as i get old –
time just seems to fly by
in the blink of an eye
i need to step back –
and appreciate the natural highs
i did not realise –
how much –
i had changed
it was like –
i had just sat in this room
whilst the furniture –
was randomly rearranged
