Sweetie You Went Too Far
sweetie you went too far
you will never see,
why the sweets stay in the jar
darling you took the wheel
the mistake you made
was thinking you knew how i feel
and that there were no border controls
that a lock and key,
always comes with a lock and a key
love, you jumped the gun
you cannot do things
they are not so much fun and it is a long time,
since our affection was young
you pushed the leaver too far
you changed the direction
but these days i drive a different car
sweetie you went too far
i used to, but not anymore
it is like a teenager
slamming the bedroom door
