Her Presence
i am getting older
paint the walls
rejuvenate my shoulders
some hang on
some redecorate their rooms
some want multiple choice
and when asked why,
she is in the past
his pain and indecision
seems to last
she wants what she threw away
do not let them tell you
that you are made of clay
i want the woman
who is far away
today felt spiritual
her presence came to stay

Her Presence – Written September 2001 (Aged 26)

I’m amazed (and jealous) to see the number of words since 2008. It truly is wonderful fruit pastille.
