Build Up Brand New Stars
i spent my time looking at stars
no one can read the words
so instead,
time is spent building cars
i found roller skates and old tennis shoes
i spent my time,
snatching at the clues
what will come of those,
who are left to dangle with the sail
and those who nest in others
and those that find the rail
i spent my time looking at stars
building visions that we all can share
we are completing the run,
and building up brand new stars
