Flipped
these days
they come with new challenges
these days
they come with work colleagues
the type who demand too much
and then,
there is a woman,
and i crave her touch
after all,
she has shown me –
how to flip over my bad luck
and she has taught me –
that occasionally –
i do need to be looked after
these days
they have a different façade
and an ever changing deck of cards
then, when i turn over i see something –
that makes me smile
but still,
these days
they come with new challenges
