Beef And Silence – Written May 2010 (Aged 35)

Beef And Silence

they tried to tell me
about right and wrong
but when it came to their, ‘truth’
i could not get along
the emotions,
that were hidden away –
under lock and key
they appeared to be so scared
as if they had –
suffered some extreme violence
and sunday beef
has never tasted right with silence
they tried to tell me that i was in –
the wrong place
that the jovial friends –
and the loving relationships –
that i had formed
well, they did not exist
switching places –
with the one that does not fit
