Who Would Question You?
of course –
you will convince yourself –
that you are right
i mean,
who would question you?
but you come with a knife
carefully hidden up your sleeve
who would think anything less
and who would not believe –
that the danger –
has stemmed from such need
of course –
you come in the perfect disguise
that is what makes you –
and expert in telling lies
half truths and falsehoods –
they are your holy trade
who would not believe you
but i have felt the knife
the one you keep up your sleeve
your words have made me bleed
your panic and obsessions
the impact of your emotional damage
to us, it is hard to express
