Rhythm of Your Heart

i understand
that you may not want –
to think too hard
if life is too fragile –
then it may just fall apart
was you ever in touch
with the rhythm of your heart
was you really –
just taking part
acting the scenes
and saying the lines
but never really saying –
what’s really on your mind
i understand
that you may now want –
to think too hard
life can be fragile
so do not fall apart
trying and stay in touch
with the rhythm of your heart
