A Different Hue
someone painted my background
a rather different hue,
someone else got going
and painted a picture of pure gold
i let someone else in,
and they said that none of it was true
they tried to clean my windows
and alter the view
someone else came into my room
in a way that woke me up
someone confiscated my dreams
and clumps of my luck
it is just a story that i tell
it is a change of position
and you will do very will
you found some concrete decision
and people who think of you –
are locked up in personal prisons
someone painted my background
with a wonderful vision
