A life Of Corridors
i can see lights up ahead
i can see the past
the one,
i once made in the shed
the i cradled in a winter bed
the one,
i let butterflies sit upon
but in the words that i said
i can see a way
a way,
that i perhaps did not see before
because in a life of corridors
occasionally, we all need doors
in a life of emotional mess
occasionally,
we need to do the chores
i see lights up ahead
i can see the past fading
the one,
i once made in the shed
