Amongst All This Emotion
i find myself –
amongst all this emotion
out here –
on some kind of ocean
peoples complexities
warm like rugs
it’s the future which i hold
and i wonder –
what it brings
madness pulls up
and it rattles its tin
i find myself –
but i do not know where to begin
the drip drip of clouds
cause nothing but grey
but i am a hopeful soul
and i am welded to today
