Who Can Clear Up Such a Mess?
i take a deep breath
and i look at what is left
who can clear up such a mess?
a sea of broken beings
on a wave of tortured feelings
sucker punched,
and left permanently reeling
i take a deep breath
and i look at what is left
who can clear up such a mess?
who can repair these souls
who can take up the sorry tale
that now, tragically unfolds
the perverse nature of fate
and the lives that it moulds
it does a close dance with the cold
i take a deep breath
and i look at what is left
what hope is there to fetch?
cradle them in our arms
as we try to do our best
i take a deep breath
and i look at what is left
who can clear up such a mess?
